The FAA formally signed Notam Order 7930.2, according to the NBAA, “enabling the first phase of Notam realignment to proceed.” As of January 28, civil local notams were reclassified as “D Notams” that are stored, numbered and distributed throughout the U.S. Notam system, NBAA explained. “These notams will be input with keywords at the beginning of each to aid in parsing and classifying the data.”
