Hawker Beechcraft King Air 200, Salmon, Idaho, Dec. 10, 2007–Trying to return for a landing immediately after taking off from Lemhi County Airport in a snowstorm “of varying intensity,” the King Air crashed into a hangar. The commercial pilot and a passenger were killed and the airplane, owned and operated by QB Corp., was destroyed.

The two surviving passengers said the aircraft made a series of steep banks immediately after liftoff and seemed to be unable to climb. The aircraft was shaking and shuddering, but the pilot was eventually able to make a left turn and maneuver it to a downwind leg and stabilize it wings level. When the pilot tried to turn left for a final approach, the aircraft again began to shake and shudder. Despite the power levers being full forward, the aircraft began to sink and hit a hangar. The preliminary report did not include weather conditions.
