Global to offer insurance for Eclipse 500

Insurance underwriter Global Aerospace will partner with Eclipse Aviation, manufacturer of the Eclipse 500 personal jet, to provide hull and liability insurance to owners of the new five-passenger personal jet. While premium levels are still to be determined, they are expected to be “similar to those for existing aircraft, based upon anticipated innovative training and customer support programs that will be part of the Eclipse’s product offering.”
