Lufthansa Bombardier Retrofits First Learjet 31A

Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport has successfully completed its first retrofit of a Bombardier Learjet 31A to meet JAR-OPS Part 1 requirements. In a separate development, LBAS expects to begin offering interior refurbishment work for all Bombardier business aircraft models in the near future. Through association with E.I.S. Aircraft, the facility will offer “softgood” refurbishments from seat upholstery to entertainment and communication systems installations, and “within a few months” will also add woodworking capability, including veneer repairs and repaint.
