FBO opens at Sardinia Airport

A general aviation terminal opened last month at Sardinia’s Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, and local handling agent Geasar is pressing ahead with construction of a new dedicated apron and hangar for business aircraft. Amenities at the 18,300-sq-ft terminal include a passenger lounge, with telephones, Internet connections, fax machines, television and reading area; a pair of crew sleep rooms; showers; customs and immigration facilities; and a flight-planning office. The new FBO provides ground transportation, aircraft cleaning and 24-hr security.
