The instrument-rated commercial pilot and his three passengers were killed November 8 when their 2002 Cessna 208 flying under Part 91 from Las Vegas to Midland, Texas, at 15,000 ft in IMC suddenly made an uncontrolled descent and crashed near Parks, Ariz. About three minutes before the descent the pilot had requested, and was cleared, to climb to 17,000 ft. The turboprop single, N514DB, was being operated by Brown County Financial Services of Snyder, Texas.
