The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) has pledged $8.5 million to assist Dassault Falcon Jet (DFJ) in its renovation and upgrade plans at New Castle County Airport (ILG) in Wilmington, Del. Dassault acquired the 179,000-sq-ft facility from Atlantic Aviation late last year. At a recent DFJ board meeting, the company outlined its plans for facility renovations and upgrades, as well as adding new personnel to meet anticipated increases in business. The Wilmington facility is authorized to service all Falcons, Challengers, Hawkers and Gulfstreams (including the G100 and G200).
