Sabena Takes EFB Software To New Level

Sabena Flight Academy Consulting is debuting its newly developed integrated electronic flight bag (EFB) software here at EBACE. The software, which has a customizable interface, includes the desktop EFB navigator, flexible form submissions and secure data synchronization. According to company founder and CEO Patrick Van Dessel, Sabena’s EFB software solution is more than just charts, flight folders, performance calculations, MEL and manuals. It also provides an electronic means of updating information and reporting data between aircraft, crew and central systems, in addition to “drastically decreasing the use of paper in the flight deck for all related processes with improved capabilities and safety at lower cost.”
