CAE, Bombardier Offer Global Sims

For the first time Europe has its own simulator capacity for the Global Express, now that CAE and Bombardier have begun offering pilot and technical training on the big business jets at CAE’s Burgess Hill facility in the UK. The program marks the first operational milestone of the 20-year Authorized Training Provider agreement signed by CAE and Bombardier last June. The contract designates CAE as Bombardier’s authorized provider for the Global Express, Global 5000, Global XRS and Challenger 300. The first course in the program, fully qualified by Europe’s JAA and the FAA in the U.S., began in April and CEA expects it to reach full capacity this summer.
