Miller and Goldsmith tied to buyers of Garrett facility

Among the key people associated with the buyers of Garrett Aviation’s Santa Barbara, Calif. facility are Dave Miller, currently v-p and general manager of Garrett Santa Barbara, and Ken Goldsmith, former v-p of business development for Garrett Aviation. Last month, General Electric confirmed an agreement for the sale of its Garrett completion facility in Santa Barbara to Yankee Pacific and WestCap Partners Private Equity Fund. Garrett Santa Barbara, which officially opened in mid-1999, had struggled with delivery delays linked to Garrett’s Van Nuys completion facility (AIN, December 2001, page 3).
