Jet Aviation refurbs its own DC-8-72 for charter

Jet Aviation in late December finished the interior refurbishment of its own DC-8-72 at its Basel, Switzerland facility. The long-range aircraft is part of Jet Aviation’s charter fleet. With a range of 6,210 nm, it is being used for flights between the Middle East and the U.S. In VIP configuration, the interior features a master bedroom with master bath
and shower, a lounge, mid-cabin bar, dining/lounge, conference/lounge, full galley and two passenger lavatories. The entertainment system includes a three-disc CD player, two DVD players designed to interface with three 42-inch gas plasma monitors and wireless headphones. The cabin is also equipped with three-channel fax, satellite-direct television, and flight phone.
