Content Body

Jet Works Air Center has started building a 43,000-sq-ft maintenance hangar at its 66,000-sq-ft facility in Denton, Texas. Most of the new hangar will be used for maintenance, inspections and avionics installations. The company services Hawker Beechcraft 400/400As, Cessna Citations and Learjets, among others. The new hangar will also accommodate long-range business jets, including the Bombardier Global Express and large-cabin Gulfstreams. Jet Works is pushing ahead with the expansion despite the current economic slowdown. “Economic conditions more greatly affect the quantitative factor of aircraft maintenance than the qualitative,” asserted Jet Works president Trey Bryson. “We are simply expanding to be able to offer all of our services to a greater array of customers and ensure that our existing customer base continues to receive the level of service and support it expects.” The new hangar is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
