NetJets pilots will be consolidated into a system-wide seniority list, per a letter of agreement between NetJets and the NetJets Association of Shared Aircraft Pilots (NJASAP), the in-house union for NetJets Aviation (NJA) pilots. The fractional provider is now voluntarily recognizing the two pilot groups serving NJA and NetJets International (NJI) “as a single transportation system for purposes of collective bargaining under the Railway Labor Act.” The move to consolidate the two companies’ pilot seniority lists does not mean the companies will be merged, according to NetJets, but it will bring the previously non-unionized NJI pilots into NJASAP. Former NetJets Aviation pilots’ union president and NetJets pilot Bill Olsen will lead the integration process and report directly to chairman and CEO Richard Santulli.
