DeCrane Is For Sale…For the Right Price

Since late 2006 DeCrane Aerospace has undergone an internal restructuring that included a name change, a headquarters relocation, a shift in marketing strategy and a refinancing effort.

More to the point, rumors that the company is for sale are accurate. In fact, the company has been for sale for quite some time. According to Heidi Pursley, v-p of sales and marketing, “The intent since DeCrane was bought in 1999 by Credit Suisse has always been to sell the company, [although] there are no active offers on the table.”
Nor does Credit Suisse appear to be in any hurry, preferring to wait, said Pursley, “for the right time and the right buyer.”
