Gulfstream Launches ‘Best in Class’ G250

Gulfstream Aerospace this morning unveiled the G250 to succeed the G200 (née Galaxy), which was the first super-midsize business jet to enter service–back in January 2000. This marks the second new aircraft launch this year for the Savannah, Ga.-based manufacturer, following the official go-ahead for the ultra-large-cabin G650 in March. According to Gulfstream, the G250 will offer the best-in-class cabin size, range and speed, thanks to an all-new wing (complete with a bleed-air anti-ice system) and more powerful Honeywell HTF7250G engines.
