Content Body

Frasca International has received several recent orders for its Mentor advanced aviation training device from Lewis University, Pinnacle Aviation, the University of North Dakota and Florida Institute of Technology. The Institute’s two Mentors feature Avidyne FlightMax Entegra avionics, while the others feature the Garmin G1000 system.

Urbana, Ill.-based Frasca (Booth No. 4636) also has received several recent orders for its reconfigurable flight training devices (FTD). Customers include Elizabeth State University, which has ordered a Cessna 172R/Beech Duchess FTD; L3 Vertex, a Cessna 206 TruFlite; and Lansing Community College and Epic Aviation, Cessna 172 TruFlites.
The TruFlite is Frasca’s line of reconfigurable FTDs, allowing flight schools to train on more than one aircraft type with one FTD. The Mentor is a high-quality simulator with an extensive list of features that use much of the same technology as Frasca’s higher level FTDs and full flight simulators.
