Smart Parts Program Available for Learjet 85

Bombardier Aerospace has announced that its Smart Parts program will be available for the Learjet 85 when the all-composite aircraft enters service. Smart Parts, first introduced in 1986 to support the Challenger 600 and 601, now covers airframe system components on nearly 1,000 aircraft, including 15 Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global models. The program allows operators to enjoy more uniform maintenance costs, according to Bombardier.

At a cocktail party here at the show, the company celebrated the success of its Smart Parts programs by giving away two of its Sea-Doo watercraft to operators of Bombardier business aircraft.
