TAS Completes Icing Tests for CL-300 EVS

Total Aircraft Services has announced the completion of icing tests for its CL-300 enhanced-vision system for the Bombardier Challenger 300. The company is now looking for a launch customer to complete the supplemental type certificate process for the system and is offering an unspecified but “substantial” discount off the projected $150,000 installed price. One complete modification kit is ready for installation, said Naras Alksninis, director of marketing for the Van Nuys, Calif.-based company. “All we need is about 10 days of downtime to do the modification and complete our testing,” he noted.
