OxfordJet now serving European travelers

The developers of the new Oxfordjet FBO at the UK’s Oxford Airport handed over the new business aviation center in July, capping a building effort that began in April. Oxford Airport’s owners bought the airport from BBA Aviation last year and spent £2.5 million as an initial investment in the new FBO.

At triple the previous space, the new FBO features modular construction and a design that can accommodate expansion to a second floor. Interior design is by Strategic Fusion, which adopted elements from the city of Oxford’s rich academic history, including organic colors, smoked-oak finishes and natural stone. A Bespoke Interior Solution floating glass screen is the focal point of the FBO entrance. FBO amenities include private passenger zones, shower rooms, crew kitchen, bar, meeting rooms and customs/immigration facilities.
