StandardAero Announces Falcon 900 Cockpit Upgrade

Dassault Falcon 900C and 900EX owners will soon be able to receive flight-deck facelifts, thanks to a Honeywell retrofit program announced at last month’s NBAA Convention by StandardAero. The company will be the launch partner for the program and will generate the first STC for Honeywell’s DU-875 in a program that is expected to be completed late next year. The DU-875, which features liquid-crystal displays, will replace Honeywell Primus 2000 DU-870 cathode-ray-tube displays. The new displays have the same dimensions as the Primus 2000’s but require less power, are 35 pounds lighter and are nearly twice as reliable, according to StandardAero. However, they retain the Primus 2000’s display symbology and functionality.
