Content Body

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has approved Gulfstream’s factory-owned London Luton service center to maintain Gulfstream G150s registered with the EASA. This approval makes Gulfstream’s Luton facility capable of servicing all Gulfstream models in Europe. Additionally, the Luton service center was designated as an EASA Part M Subpart G organization, enabling it to oversee the continuing airworthiness of aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of more than 5,700 kilograms (roughly 12,500 pounds). According to Gulfstream, the EASA Part M Subpart G approval “increases the aircraft maintenance and airworthiness management options available to operators of European Union-registered Gulfstream aircraft.” Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream product support, said, “Luton is an important geographic location for Gulfstream and services a significant number of transient aircraft. The fact that we can now service the entire Gulfstream fleet is of significant value to our customers and a reflection of the capability of our outstanding workforce.”
