Dassault Falcon Service has expanded its maintenance facility at Paris Le Bourget Airport. The 10-month project has added 41,000 sq ft of hangar space, sufficient to accommodate four Falcon 7Xs or seven Falcon 900s simultaneously, and an additional 9,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space. “The new facility features a clear, unobstructed work area that significantly increases our service center capacity while optimizing the efficiency of the service process,” noted Dassault Falcon Service general manager Yves Gueyffier. “This increases our capacity for regular inspections and scheduled maintenance, as well as improving our ability to provide ramp service and unscheduled maintenance.” Construction of the eye-catching hangar required more than 900 tons of steel, but by eliminating the need for pillars and integrating a wide door it increases the number of aircraft that can be accommodated. The French service center is part of the Dassault Aircraft Services network, which also supports the Falcon business jet fleet with facilities in Wilmington, Del.; and Little Rock, Ark.
