West Star Aviation’s Grand Junction, Colo. facility (GJT) is offering 96-month detailed inspections and 120-month restorations for Challenger landing gear.
“We compiled information on Challenger operators, and based upon our findings we anticipate a large number of Challenger gear events over the next two years,” general manager Dave Krogman told AIN. “Our accessory program has been doing landing gear for many years, and [expanding] our Challenger landing gear capabilities was a logical progression.”
According to Krogman, West Star has increased its capacity to accommodate a projected 250 Challenger fleet gear events. The MRO is an FAA-certified Class I, II and III accessory repair station and will also complete send-in gear inspections for operators who prefer that option.
