Van Nuys, Calif.-based Elite Aviation has filed a complaint in the Superior Court of California, Northwest District, accusing charter broker JetCardPlus and some individuals who set up and flew charters arranged by JetCardPlus and flown by Elite of breach of contract, fraud and other violations. The lawsuit seeks payment of $221,716.24, in addition to interest, attorney fees and court costs. This amount was for air transportation services provided by Elite Aviation to JetCardPlus customers during February and March, according to the complaint. The money was supposed to be held in trust then paid to Elite Aviation for the charters it flew for JetCardPlus, according to the court filings. JetCardPlus did not comment on the lawsuit.
