Touching Bases: Rizon set to open Doha FBO next year

oMiddle East charter provider Rizon has begun work on a new FBO and hangar facility at Doha Airport in Qatar. Rizon, which is headquartered at London Biggin Hill Airport, plans to build the new FBO in modular fashion so that it can be moved to the new Doha International Airport when it opens in 2011. At Biggin Hill, Rizon’s new maintenance facility is 60 percent complete and should be finished in October, followed by a new FBO terminal in November. The new Biggin Hill facilities will cost $16 million, and Rizon expects to employ 200 people there.
