Hot Section: PremiAir opens Hawker Beech MRO at Oxford Airport, UK

PremiAir has officially opened a new fixed-wing maintenance center for Hawker Beechcraft aircraft at Oxford Airport, UK. The operation relocated from Blackbushe Airport near Farnborough into a newly refurbished 20,000-sq-ft hangar. The EASA Part 145 operation has a 25-year relationship with Hawker Beechcraft and is an
authorized service center, and among its 20 employees are three newly appointed engineers. PremiAir expects to add more positions in the near future.

Formerly operated by CSE Aviation, the facility has undergone a $1.5 million refurbishment that included updated electrical service, lighting, heating and insulation. It includes new workshops, customer reception areas, office space and dedicated car parking. The company has also been named a Raisbeck authorized dealer.
