New CEO Dives In at Ocean Sky

Ocean Sky Aviation has appointed Steve Grimes as its new CEO. Grimes was formerly CEO of the UK-based group’s Ocean Sky Jet Centre FBO business, but will now run its main aircraft management and charter activities as well. Earlier this year, Ocean Sky received $48 million in fresh investment, and it recently acquired German charter operator Triple Alpha of Dusseldorf, Germany. Ocean Sky has FBOs at London Luton Airport, Manchester and Prestwick in Scotland. According to Grimes, it intends to build a network of FBOs across Europe over the course of the next 12 months or so through acquisitions.
