Content Body

The trial of Michael and Paul Brassington, John Kimberling, Brien McKenzie and pilot Francis Vieira, executives and employees of now defunct Platinum Jet Management, has been rescheduled for May 11 to give both sides more time to prepare. Company cofounder Andre Budhan and director of charters Joseph Singh previously pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to defraud charter customers and brokers and to impede and obstruct the FAA, and they have been scheduled for sentencing. The charges stem from the
February 2005 Teterboro (N.J.) Airport accident in which a Platinum Jet-operated Challenger 600 crashed into a warehouse on takeoff.
