It was a busy year for Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Mich., and Lincoln, Neb. facilities. The two stations conducted 24 Hawker airframe inspections, 11 of them heavy inspections, last year.
The company has dedicated Hawker airframe teams on hand to perform inspections and maintenance, as well as two Hawker tech reps on location. The 24 inspections were performed on Hawker 700s, 800s, 800As, 800XPs and 1000s. The B, C, D, E, F and G inspections included structural inspections and X-rays as necessary. The company is factory authorized by Hawker Beechcraft.
Duncan also completed 38 Gulfstream airframe inspections during the same period, including an A Check on a G100, a 5,000-landing inspection on a GIV and removal of a GII’s wing.
With six dedicated Falcon airframe teams on hand to perform inspections and maintenance, Duncan Aviation also performed C Checks on seven Falcon 900s, seven Falcon 2000s, six Falcon 50s, six Falcon 50EXs, three Falcon 2000EXs, two Falcon 900EXs, two Falcon 20s and two Falcon 10s. In addition to 84 dedicated airframe technicians, 77 of whom have been factory trained, Duncan Aviation has three Falcon tech reps on hand to answer operator and technician questions.
