Hawker Beechcraft 1900C, Sand Point, Alaska, Jan. 21, 2010–The twin turboprop crashed into the ocean shortly after takeoff from Sand Point Airport, killing the ATP-certified pilot and the commercial-certified first officer. The airplane was being operated as a cargo flight under Part 135. Witnesses located approximately one mile from the airport reported that as the airplane took off  the engine noise changed, and they then heard the sound of impact. They reported strong winds in the area at the time, estimated at between 50 and 60 knots.
