Two FBOs at Reno-Tahoe International Airport are not going to renew their upcoming leases, and the airport has released a request for proposals (RFP) for a new FBO to replace them. “Reno-Tahoe is the 62nd busiest commercial airport in the country and has a large corporate and general aviation customer base,” the airport explained. “Two of Reno’s three existing FBOs are regional operations that have chosen not to renew their leases.” Atlantic Aviation will continue serving the Reno market, according to an Atlantic spokeswoman. The other two FBOs at the airport are Jet West and Sierra Air Center. The airport will offer the possibility of a lease period as long as 50 years and a greenfield site of 15.15 acres to build the new FBO. The RFP is available at http://renoairport.com/about_airport/competitive_solicitations/app-bids-rfps-rfqs/.
