Aircraft registered in China and Macau are now eligible for maintenance services at Jet Aviation Hong Kong. The company has received base maintenance approval from the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department to carry out base maintenance. The approval enables the facility to provide heavy maintenance on aircraft registered in China and Macau.
In addition, Jet Aviation Hong Kong has also been awarded a number of additional maintenance approvals for aircraft registered outside the vicinity, including approval from the Bermuda authority to work on Gulfstreams, Bombardiers and Boeing BBJs up to a C check, as well as approval from the Isle of Man’s aviation authority to provide maintenance on G550s registered in that principality.
“With these latest approvals, we will be able to further support our increasing Asian customer base in Hong Kong and strengthen our global MRO network serving major OEMs,” said Christof Spaeth, senior vice president of MRO and FBO services for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Jet Aviation Hong Kong, which has one hangar totaling more than 99,000 sq ft, offers line maintenance, inspections and defect rectifications as well as AOG support. The company also services aircraft registered in 11 other countries through Jet Aviation’s maintenance approvals in Singapore, which include EASA, Aruba DCA, Australian CASA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Indonesia DGAC, Macao MAR-145, Malaysia DCA, Philippines ATO, Singapore CAAS and Thailand DOA.
