Cleveland Hopkins International Airport-based Constant Aviation
recently installed in a Gulfstream IV an Aircell ATG 4000 high-speed internet system complete with the Aircell Axxess cabin communications systems with Wi-Fi provisions. The installation was completed in conjunction with a 72-month inspection and was the fourth Aircell high-speed internet system Constant Aviation has installed this year.
Last November, Constant Aviation launched the supplemental type certificate (STC) process for the installation of the Aircell high-speed internet system including Wi-Fi in the Embraer Legacy, Gulfstream IV, Citation X, Beechjet and Avanti.
“The convenience this system brings to passengers is unmatched; being able to access the Internet and e-mail in flight is quickly becoming a requirement and an efficient use of time for business travelers,” said Stephen Maiden, the company’s president.
