Hot section: Atlantic Aero Expands Falcon Service Capabilities

Atlantic Aero has added Falcon 900 and 2000 maintenance capability to its roster of services. The company has already secured tooling, technical data, experienced personnel and a 23,660-sq-ft hangar. The new facility can house aircraft as large as ultra-long-range business jets and includes an additional 6,500 sq ft of space for support shops and office space. According to Jim Spinder, the company’s president, Atlantic Aero has been serving Falcon 10, 20 and 50 operators for more than 10 years.

“This service expansion, combined with the Falcon maintenance services offered by our sister company, Western Aircraft in Boise, Idaho, will substantially improve the support we can offer our customers,” Spinder said.

Atlantic Aero’s services include major inspections, repairs and modifications, line service and AOG support, engine support, avionics upgrades and interior refurbishment and repair.
