Hot Section: ATI providing mobile response to JT15D operators

O’Fallon, Mo.-based Aviation Turbines International is offering its JT15D customers a mobile response team deployed on a vehicle equipped with the tooling required by Pratt & Whitney Canada to perform ­­hot-section inspections, low-pressure compressor (fan disk) replacements, vibration surveys, engine replacements and routine maintenance.

The vehicle can carry up to two engines, enabling ATI to provide a loaner engine at the customer’s request. ­According to the company, the team covers about a 1,200-mile radius from its home base. ATI is a registered ISO 9001:2008 quality management ­system company and holds both FAA and EASA certified repair station approval.
