Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has been granted EASA approval for the installation of its Beechjet 400 two-place divan. The unit is available with the option of close-out panels and comes with a mounted shoulder harnesses. According to the company, there is no airframe modification necessary. The process requires removing the existing seats/furnishings and placing the divan into the desired location by locking it into the seat tracks. AvFab also offers pricing quotes on the removed seats as potential trade-ins.
The company has also been granted EASA approval for the installation of a Cessna 441 two-place, side-facing divan on all 400-series Cessnas. It has the option of close-out panels and comes with the mounted shoulder harnesses. The divan is delivered in “green condition,” without upholstery. It, too, installs in the aircraft without modification.
