Rockwell Collins’s Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics system received FAA technical standard order (TSO) approval on April 21. This sets the stage for STC approval on the avionics manufacturer’s Challenger 601 testbed and certification on the Bombardier Global Express XRS. Pro Line Fusion will include synthetic vision on a head-up display (HUD), networked capability enabling interoperability between onboard and ground systems and large high-resolution displays. The Pro Line Fusion system has been selected for the Bombardier Global XRS, Global 5000, Learjet 85 and C Series; Embraer Legacy 450/500; Gulfstream G250; and Mitsubishi Regional Jet.
