The Qatar CAA has granted Part 145 certification to the maintenance division of Rizon Jet, a Middle East and UK-based business aviation group headquartered in Doha, Qatar. The Doha line maintenance and repair station will be focusing on its approvals for the Challenger 604/605 and Hawker 900XP. It also provides support on wheels, tires and batteries. The facility also supports, under FAR Part 91, select Bombardier business aircraft as well as Hawker 700s and 900XPs registered in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and the Isle of Man. The MRO is nearing EASA Part 145 base maintenance approval for the Challenger 604/605 and Hawker 700/750XP/800/800XP/850XP/900XP as well as all of the Global Express series. The organization is also pursuing approvals for maintenance accreditation on aircraft registered in Bermuda, the Isle of Man, Pakistan, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Rizon Jet’s maintenance team operates in a facility large enough to accommodate four Global XRSs or nine Challenger 604/605s.
