Iraq To Get First FBO

Orange County, Calif.-based Macair recently announced it has launched a subsidiary which will become the exclusive private jet handling company at Erbil International Airport. Under the name Macair Flight Support, the independently run Iraq-based company is beginning construction on a new FBO at the location. Scheduled to open late next year, the facility will provide hangars and offices along with aircraft services such as ground handling, fueling, line maintenance, flight planning and aircraft sales and management. Planned amenities will include a VIP lounge, a conference lounge, crew rest area, prayer room, exercise room and operations briefing room.
