Sikorsky and Ruag To Open Swiss Service Center

Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) has named Ruag Aviation’s Alpnach helicopter facility in Switzerland an authorized customer service center (CSC) to support the Sikorsky S-76. “The Alpnach customer service center will be a key support facility for the future expansion of Sikorsky’s S-76 commercial aircraft fleet in southeast and south-central Europe,” said Frank DiPasquale, v-p of sales and strategic relationships for SAS. Ruag’s customer service center will offer Sikorsky S-76 operators aftermarket support, including Sikorsky-trained local maintenance personnel for on-site maintenance management, inspections and parts procurement. Ruag Aviation focuses on life-cycle support of selected business and military aircraft and helicopters. It acts as an integrated in-service support provider for the helicopter fleets of the Swiss Air Force, other international air forces and commercial helicopter operators in Switzerland. Ruag offers helicopter maintenance in Switzerland and Germany for the AS332 Super Puma Mk I, AS532 Cougar Mk I, AS365 Dauphin, AS350 Ecureuil, EC120, EC130, EC135, EC63, Alouette II, Alouette III, SA315 Lama, Kaman K-Max, Sikorsky S-76, Bell UH-1D and Bell 205.
