Vector Aerospace Relocates Service Center

Vector Aerospace has vacated its 6,500-sq-ft facility and moved into a new 19,000-sq-ft location to expand its shop and storage space. The 13-year-old Grapevine, Texas-based company offers maintenance, repair and overhaul services through three operating divisions: Acrohelipro Global Services, Atlantic Turbines International and Sigma Aerospace. All were rebranded Vector Aerospace in 2008. The company works on both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. “The move will have a positive effect on our business and growth potential. It will allow us to add to our existing capabilities and add engine lines, for example. There is now even room for rental engine and empty engine container storage,” John Seidl Jr., director of the service center network, Vector Aerospace Engine Services–Atlantic, told AIN. The new facility also has cleaning, NDT and rework back shops. The FAA and EASA Part 145 repair station has 12 employees, including eight A&P mechanics and one powerplant-rated mechanic. Vector Aerospace holds approvals from AgustaWestland, Boeing, Sikorsky, Rolls-Royce, Eurocopter, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Bell Helicopter, General Electric, Turbomeca, Sagem Avionics, Rockwell Collins and others.
