Fontainebleau Aviation Opens at Opa-locka Executive

After more than 30 years as Turnberry Aviation, the corporate flight department for the Turnberry Hotel Group, the company has expanded into an FBO at Miami’s Opa-locka Executive Airport (OPF). The FBO acquired its own fuel-service capabilities and is now known as Fontainebleau Aviation.

The facility has five hangars totaling more than 100,000 sq ft, and can accommodate aircraft as large as an Airbus ACJ319. The current facility has 24/7 line-service availability, a spacious pilot lounge, flight-planning with weather computer, A/V and web-conferencing-equipped conference rooms and concierge services along with 19,000 sq ft of executive and maintenance offices. Fontainebleau Aviation also offers discounted rates at nearby Turnberry hotel properties.

A new main terminal building at Opa-locka is under construction and is expected to be completed later this year.
