FAA Supersedes Falcon 7X AD

The FAA has issued an NPRM for the Dassault Falcon 7X. An existing AD currently requires revising the Abnormal Procedures and Limitations sections of the Dassault Falcon 7X flight manual. Since issuing the AD the FAA has determined that additional actions are necessary to address the identified unsafe condition. This AD proposes to detect and correct a leakage failure mode of transient voltage suppression diodes used on PDCU cards or GCU cards in the primary power distribution boxes, which, in combination with other system failures, could lead to loss of controllability of the airplane.
