International Water-Guard Industries has signed a letter of agreement with Embraer to provide its IWG-A4 ultraviolet water treatment unit as optional equipment on the Brazilian OEM’s Legacy 600 and 650.
The first installation will go into Embraer’s Legacy 650 demonstrator at the company plant in Saõ Jose dos Campos, Brazil. The installation has been designed by IWG at its facilities in Burnaby, British Columbia and by its Brazilian partner, Avionics Services of São Paulo, Brazil.
“This is an important milestone for both IWG and Embraer,” said IWG president and CEO David Fox. “This will allow passengers and crew to benefit from a unique water-borne contamination protection system, wherever they are in the world.”
