Three European Operators Order Hawker 4000s

Three European operators signed up for the Hawker 4000 super-midsize jet–ordering one each yesterday at the EBACE show. The first one will go to Bucharest, Romania-based InterAviation, a charter operator that serves mainly the Middle East, Europe, Russia and other CIS countries. The second is being purchased by Orion-Malta, a company headquartered at Malta’s Luqa Airport. Both operators already have a Hawker 900XP in their fleet. The third order came from JoinJet, a charter operator that is going to add the Hawker 4000 to its Danish AOC. JoinJet’s fleet already includes a Hawker 800XP and a Hawker 800XPR.

Separately, Hawker Beechcraft is to open a parts and distribution warehouse in Bangalore, India. Airworks India Engineering is to operate the new facility, which will be ready “in the next few weeks,” according to the U.S. manufacturer.
