Aero-Dienst has increased its usable space on Germany’s Nuremberg airport by acquiring another hangar dedicated to maintenance. The facility, which will be used primarily for Bombardier Challenger and Dassault Falcon work, has an additional 9,700 sq ft of workshop and storage space available to accommodate growth.
In addition, the company added 27,000 sq ft of space to the complex to accommodate a partnership with Metrica Aviation Interior. Metrica specializes in the refurbishment and cosmetic repair of aircraft interiors. “We are now able to offer an operator interior repair and refurbishment simultaneous with other maintenance, all under one roof. We have set up workshops specifically for interior work, including carpets, coverings and panels,” said Aero-Dienst managing director Martin Bauer. The company offers a no-cost evaluation of a cabin’s interior condition when it’s in for maintenance.
