Subject Area
Content Body

CAE has become the first independent training provider to be qualified as a Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) approved training organization for maintenance training for Dassault Falcons under China’s CCAR-147 regulation. The approval enables CAE to deploy maintenance training courses in China for the 7X, 900EX EASy, 900DX, 900LX, 2000EX EASy, 2000DX and 2000LX. CAE has yet to announce where the training center will be located or when it will go into operation.

Claude Lauzon, CAE’s vice president of strategy and marketing for civil simulation products, training and services, told AIN, “The timing and location in Asia for CAE’s training program for the Dassault Falcon 7X will be based on market conditions and in consultation with customers and Dassault.”

CCAR-147 is part of the CAAC’s policy to accelerate the development of civil aviation maintenance operations. CAE has similar regulatory approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia, the European Aviation Safety Agency and Transport Canada.
