NIAR Achieves Nadcap Accreditation in Composites Testing

The National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) at Wichita State University has received Nadcap AC7122/1 accreditation for non-metallic materials testing, including composites and adhesive/adhesive primer. NIAR is one of only seven test laboratories in the U.S. with the accreditation, according to Tracee Friess, marketing and communication manager. “Nadcap is an industry-managed consensus approach to OEM oversight of suppliers. It conducted a several-month performance and qualification review of our systems to ensure compliance with its criteria,” Friess told AIN.
