Baker Aviation’s maintenance facility at Addison Airport, Texas, has received FAA approval as a Part 145 repair station.
“We are excited about the certification and what it means for our customers,” said Marty Dryer, the company’s director of operations. “This was the next big step in our expansion plan to offer full-service maintenance operations. With more than 30 years of heavy and light airframe maintenance experience, Baker Aviation focuses on airframe work. It’s what we do best,” Dryer told AIN.
The facility contracts out heavy engine maintenance such as major repair or overhaul. Baker also offers avionics installation and repair from its avionics shop and has a contract arrangement for interior work. It serves operators of the Challenger 600/601/604; Learjet 30/40/50/60; Citation 500, 525, 550/551, 560XL and 650; Gulfstream 1159/1159A/1159B/GIV/GV; King Air 200/300/350; and Hawker 400/700/800/1000.
