Alabama Airport Rebuilds after Storm

After a summer storm that wreaked havoc on the hangars at Shelby County Airport, authorities in the Alabama county expect to break ground this month on a new 11,920-sq-ft hangar. With a 120-foot by 40-foot door, the building will accommodate all business jets except the largest bizliners. Approximately 80 aircraft are based at the airport.
